Hear ye! Hear ye!  Queen Kiriel requests your attendance at the 3rd annual Niles Renaissance Faire.  Back by popular demand, the event has moved to a new location!  This year, the Renaissance Festival will take place at Plym Park from May 15th to May 16th, Saturday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Her Royal Highness also wishes to remind patrons that masks will be required and social distancing measures must be followed.

There is no age limit to the merriment that will abound!  Stay awhile and experience comedy shows, Celtic and folk music performances, combat, magic, fairy tales, and storytelling.   And be sure to check out the market for a glimpse at the merchants' wares.  Our vendors will feature costumes, ceramics, wooden items, jewelry fit for a queen, and much more.  Food will be available for purchase as well.  Lots of different downtown shops  also plan on hosting specials for the weekend.

Fair maiden Carrie Nyenhuis is the event's coordinator and is excited to see it flourish once again.  "People are looking for fun and educational outdoor events and we know that, by following strict state guidelines, we can safely offer the Faire again this year," she said.
The cost to attend the event is $5 for adults, $3 for ages 5 - 12, and free for ages 4 and under.  Seniors (65 and older) and military tickets are $3.  Attendees are also encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and stay awhile.  Enjoy the festivities!

Our more seasoned Renaissance Faire attendees may recognize some of our court jesters and other acts.  Bell, Book, and Canto will be returning along with Swords of Valor, and The Idiot Ric Roc.  If you haven't attended the faire in years past, now is the perfect time.  You know what they say, third time's the charm!  There's no telling who you'll meet- a pirate, a knight, or maybe even the Queen herself.
