Pucker Street Dam is also called the Dowagiac River Dam by some locals because it sits on the Dowagiac River.

Milbocker & Sons was awarded the contract for the Pucker Street Dam Project.  The dam will be removed to restore the Dowagiac River to a free flowing condition.  Construction is anticipated to start in August.  All of the work will be in and around the powerhouse (pictured above).  Since Losensky Park sits near the dam, residents & visitors should expect some park closures during construction.
